The Business Development Program

VetBizCommunity™ uses a proven Business Development Curriculum created by Executive Director and Professor Lynn Sarkany. This program, conducted in weekly meetings, goes beyond the standard approach to business education, which focuses on theory, and gets right to the heart of the necessary “Street Smarts” most businesspeople learn the hard way through tough experience and often failure. By circumventing the “School of Hard Knocks” approach to business, our participants are able to jumpstart their business-building process and get right to the point of being in business: MAKING MONEY!

By working individually with veteran business owners, as well as creating cohorts of up to 20 veteran entrepreneurs, VetBizCommunity™ is able to not only accelerate the business development and learning process, it produces a synergistic effect where veteran entrepreneurs can come together in Business Development Circles. These circles, guided by one of our expert Business Development instructors, allow like-minded veteran entrepreneurs to team up and proactively seek money-making business opportunities as a group, empowering them to pursue clients and customers as a team, and to serve their clients with a collaborative approach, which enables them to increase the income-producing ability of their business and serve their clients more effectively.

Ms. Sarkany has years of experience delivering this curriculum to both civilian and veteran entrepreneurs. The curriculum she has developed has allowed our expert instructors to get right to the heart of our veteran participants' business-related problems and solve them before they can threaten the viability of the veteran-owned businesses.
